Push "Set" and "1" simultaneously until you here a "beep" sound. Push the Start button once more with foot off the brake pedal to turn off the ignition. Open the door; exit the car; close the door. Re-enter, start the car, and, with transmission in "Park", re-adjust the mirrors and seat as if you were another driver.

There are fuses located on the bottom of the fusebox. 1. Release the two latches, located on both sides of the fusebox. 2. Raise the inboard side of the fusebox from the cradle. 3. Move the fusebox toward the center of the engine compartment. 4. Pivot the outboard side of the fusebox to access the bottom side.
Disconnect the power seat’s negative battery cable and set it aside. Remove the trim panel of the seat. Use screwdrivers to loosen the screws. Then pull the trim panel away from its cushion to release the remaining clips. Remove the screw from the switch panel using the screwdriver to remove the panel.
Make sure your key has memory active via MMI. The seat memory position 1 and 2 give two options for each key and each seat, not 1 for one key and 2 for the other key. Audi will not release repair information to independent repair shops so the part has to be replaced and reprogrammed at the dealer. Dealers are only required to carry support their products for 10 years I believe. After 10 years the dealer will not work on your Audi and some of your electronics will not be able to be repaired if they fail.

You hand the fob only after removing the key portion to the valet parking guy. Then if you've locked them, the glove, trunk and rear seat remain locked.
